24/7....

"Ephesians 6:18 (New American Standard Bible)
18With all (A)prayer and petition (B)pray at all times (C)in the Spirit, and with this in view, (D)be on the alert with all (E)perseverance and (F)petition for all the saints..."

So here is my question...Is this concept of "pray without ceasing" to be taken litterally. As I am reading this book about the Boiler Room in Reading, England and I hear accounts of God doing things in places like BURN 24/7 I wonder if there is something to the idea of 24/7 payer within the body.

Is this movement the way for the mdern church to understand what prayer can do in people and communities....I am not sure really and I have asked several people the original question and the answer I get is "I don't know.
